Unidentified craft penetrated restricted airspace over nuclear weapons storage areas at multiple Strategic Air Command bases including Loring, Wurtsmith, Malmstrom, Minot, and Grand Forks AFBs. F-106 interceptors failed to identify the objects. NORAD documented the incidents for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
