Send a useful correction
Include the page URL, the exact sentence or data point at issue, your proposed correction, and a link or copy of the strongest supporting source. If the disagreement is interpretive, identify which evidence or framing you believe is missing.
Source submissions
We welcome public records, stable archive links, hearing material, original research, and documentation that adds context to an existing record. Explain where the material came from and whether it has been edited. Submitting a source does not guarantee publication or endorsement.
Rights and media
For image, quotation, republication, interview, podcast, documentary, or event requests, identify the specific page or asset, intended use, outlet, deadline, and best reply address. See Public Relations for additional details.
Safety and privacy
Do not send classified information, unlawfully obtained material, passwords, private identifying records, medical records, or content you are not authorized to disclose. Email is not a secure channel for sensitive material. If you face legal, employment, or personal-safety risk, consult qualified counsel or an appropriate support organization before contacting any publication.
Response expectations
The desk prioritizes verifiable corrections and source issues. Not every pitch or general question receives a response, and we cannot provide legal advice, authenticate classified claims, investigate emergencies, or guarantee confidentiality.
