Record summary
A brilliant fireball was observed across six US states before crashing near Kecksburg, Pennsylvania. Witnesses described a copper-colored, acorn-shaped object with hieroglyphic-like writing. The US Army cordoned off the area and removed the object. The case is often called Pennsylvania's Roswell.
